HIGHLIGHT

WIANG KUM KAM


depart 8.30 am / 11.00 am / 1.30 pm / 3.30 pm

The ancient royal city of Wiang Kum Kam lies a pleasant boat ride south of Chiang Mai. This short joining tour picks you up at your hotel, transfers you to the pier for a 20 minute journey down the River Ping on a new and comfortable teak fitted boat. After a video introduction to the site, ride a house and cart around the remains of six ancient temples. Return to Chiang Mai by boat and transfer back to your hotel.

WAT DOI SUTHEP
& MEO VILLAGE

Doi Suthep temple, overlooking Chiang Mai, was founded 700 years ago by Lanna King Kuena. It is famous for its Naga (serpent) staircase and white elephant statues.

The Meo hilltribe migrated from China to northern Thailand 200 years ago. Once famous for opium cultivation, they are now better known for their exquisite embroidery.
